John Henry is a Dominican-American entrepreneur and investor passionate about building vibrant communities.

First Company

As an entrepreneur, John started his first company in 2012; an on-demand laundry startup that specialized in handling wardrobe for the Film / TV industry in NYC. He lead the company until it's acquisition in 2014.

Cofound Harlem

Henry then went on to launch Cofound Harlem - a non-profit incubator that aims to help foster a robust tech ecosystem North of 96th street. As part of the program, selected applicants receive complimentary office space and mentorship in exchange for a commitment to stay physically located in Harlem for two years.

Harlem Capital

Eventually, John would foray into venture investments. John currently serves as a Partner at Harlem Capital, a diversity-focused early stage investment firm on a mission to change the face of entrepreneurship.

John Henry, a New York City native, was raised in Florida and currently resides in Harlem.
