Kim Ford is the founder/publisher of JubileeMag.com, an online faith-based magazine covering faith, culture and style, based in Atlanta, GA. She’s also a speaker and the author of “The Success Mindset: How To NOT Give Up After A Huge Setback”.
While publishing JubileeMag.com, Kim has covered events such as the BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, Dove Awards, Trumpet Awards, Stellar Awards and more. She has interviewed some of the red carpets biggest stars such as Kevin Hart, Donald Glover, Michael B. Jordan, Jada Pinkett Smith, Tyler Perry, Meagan Good, Anthony Anderson, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Magic Johnson, La La Anthony, Kevin Costner, Michelle Williams, Erica Campbell, Steve Harvey as well as many others.
She also covers private film and television screenings in conjunction with Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, BET, TVOne, WEtv and many others.
In June 2018, became the host and executive producer of her first TV show, In The Spotlight With Kim Ford. It's a celebrity talk show with candid one-on-one interviews with music producers, filmmakers, actors, authors, executives and more. She gives the audience behind-the-scenes access to exclusive film screenings, red carpet events and movie sets. The show reaches 2 million households in Atlanta and the borders of Tennessee and Alabama.
In March 2107, her online mag was nominated for Media Publication of the Year. In 2103 it was nominated as "Best Faith-Based Mag" and was voted as “Independent Mag of the Year” in 2010. In February 2016, Kim was honored as one of Atlanta's Phenomenal Women.
Kim has made several in-studio appearances at Radio One on The Willie Moore Jr. Show sharing life tips and giving the inside scoop on major red carpet events. She’s also appeared on Lifetime TV’s The Rap Game, where she was invited by music mogul Jermaine Dupri to critique his new cast of talent on the show.
Kim’s passion reaches deeper than red carpet events, covering big film premieres and even interviewing some of entertainment’s biggest celebrities. Her strongest gift is helping women overcome life’s obstacles.
As the mother of a millennial daughter and a pre-teen son, Kim knows what it's like to balance the role of single-mom and entrepreneur while also pursuing your own dreams. She has overcome many setbacks and disappointments, but decided to let it make her better instead of bitter.
Kim expanded her brand to offer online courses about personal development and media (in front of the camera and behind the laptop) by launching Kim Academy. On the site you can purchase her book, take her masterclasses, watch her webinars, and buy products.
